Introduction to Olympic Boxing for students
Bradricks Boxing Club is once again offering our Olympic Boxing 4 Schools program.
This program is designed to meet curriculum needs of high school physical education teachers while immersing students in a informative, hands on traditional boxing training program. We provide a unique and challenging fitness and recreational opportunity guaranteed to engage, educate, and intrigue you and your students.
Boxing training is one of the most effective training programs available to athletes. The combination of physical conditioning and mental preparedness required for boxing translate into immense benefits in all areas of ones life; including academic endeavours, enhancing performance in other sports and enjoying recreational activities in a healthy community.

Our Boxing 4 schools classes are run Monday to Friday, during school hours, and are offered at our club, you can book class time at Bradricks gym, and introduce your students to boxing, in a traditional setting. Our goal is to make the boxing classroom experience a positive one, to give participants an excellent workout, and to offer an educating experience to one of the most exciting sports in the world. Our program is offered on a single or ongoing class basis. Your class's visit (s) to our gym will be the highlight of the term!
IS THE PROGRAM SAFE ?
The Olympic Boxing 4 Schools program is perfectly safe. Participants will be guided through a typical boxer's workout without an additional sparring component. Students will have available a partner work component, where they will learn the self defence aspects of boxing without the contact.

 CLASS OUTLINE
THEORY - A brief history of boxing through the ages and the evolution of Olympic style boxing
Outline of the rules of Olympic style boxing.
PRACTICAL; Warm up - Including basic exercises and stretches
Skills - Basic punching technique and foot work
Workout - Bag work, speed ball and floor to Medicine ball and ab work. Cool down
WE PROVIDE; Qualified class instructors
